There’s this quote that says “a good way to keep healthy is to eat Chinese food.” I say a good way to keep having healthy Chinese food is to eat delicious Chinese food! And the people of Tuguegarao City are in luck!
And in luck I mean the grand opening of the the GOLDEN BAMBOO RESTAURANT‘s newest branch at the second level of SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown! Imagine, of all the places that they could have chosen to establish their third branch in the country (the first two in Meycauayan, Bulacan and Santiago City, Isabela), they chose to have it in the Philippines’ hottest city! Lucky indeed!
Together with my fellow members from Cagayan Valley Bloggers Society and other media representatives, I was fortunate enough to receive an executive invite to the Golden Bamboo Restaurant‘s exclusive bloggers lunch, where we got the chance to be among the first few people in Tuguegarao City to try their “modern Chinese dishes freshly and meticulously prepared by the Chinese Master Chef!”
Steamed prawns with garlic, birthday noodles, fried seafood rolls, 3 kinds of mushroom with brocolli, szechuan squid, chicken breast with salted egg and beanspork with lettuce were the dishes served to us (check out the pictures below). Overall, everything tasted great! But my favorite by far was their Chicken Breast with Salted Egg. The combination of its perfectly-cooked chicken breast and salted egg, mixed with its crunchy breading, captured exactly what my palate was looking for.
